In memory of Richard Leon Adams (1936-2021)

Richard was an avid train enthusiast, a strong man of faith, and his heart was always back home in East Tennessee. So it is fitting that we remember him through a memorial established at Doe River Gorge, a Christian camp in Tennessee built along the old Tweetsie (ET&WNC) railroad bed. Donations made in Richard’s memory will be used to assist with the preservation and upkeep of the train and track so that they can continue to carry future generations through the beauty and majesty of God’s creation at Doe River Gorge.
