Spencer Teal

Summer Staff Coordinator (2006) - Spencer graduated from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity) and Williams Baptist College (BA in Christians Ministries). He came to DRG as a summer staff counselor 1997-1999, and as counselor supervisor in 2002. He is also in charge of SALT and LEAD. Spencer and his wife, Nicole have five children.

Doe River Gorge Christian camp is located in Tennessee, and is one day’s drive or less from North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Missouri, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Maryland, Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, and New York. We have also served campers from other parts of the country as far away as Colorado, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Texas, Louisiana, and Hawaii, as well as internationally from The Bahamas and Costa Rica. Doe River Gorge is a member of the Christian Camp and Conference Association (CCCA), the Elizabethton/Carter County Chamber of Commerce, the Johnson City Chamber of Commerce, and the Bristol Chamber of Commerce.
