To Parents...

Dear Parent,

When June Cleaver said, "Ward, I'm worried about the Beaver," she probably wasn't referring to crack cocaine, internet pornography, or a sexually transmitted disease. Her primary concern was probably that Beaver not turn out to be as obnoxious as Eddie Haskell.*

Times have changed. Young people today face pressures and temptations as no other generation has ever encountered. Just one wrong decision can result in a lifetime of heartache and regret.

Doe River Gorge desires to create positive experiences that formulate and reinforce Christian values. Our goal is to be a place where students can be nurtured, celebrated, and valued; a place where they can have new experiences, explore new things, develop positive relationships, and discover the adventure of living life the way God intended.

Progressive programs will challenge your children year after year, from the time they are eight years old until they graduate from college. Day programs and weekend retreats will provide family fun and togetherness. Look through this catalog to see the various programs that are right for your family.

Raising a generation to live for the glory of God is a formidable task. The people, place and resources known as Doe River Gorge Ministries are here, for the long haul, to partner with you in that effort. Working together we can help our young people successfully navigate the perilous culture in which they live and experience the abundant life that God intended. Let us know how we can assist you.

For His Glory,

Terry Maughon, President
