Jessica Ostrander

Jessica moved to Tennessee from Wisconsin with her family in 2009. She completed an intense, six-week program to train horses thinking it was the direction God was leading. In 2010, she served as summer staff at Doe River Gorge. She stayed through the fall as a volunteer with the activity team and to work with guest groups. God's call to serve here full-time soon became evident. Next came a nine-month internship that ended in November of 2011. Jessica is now a full-time missionary candidate for Doe River Gorge to serve as part of the activity team and working with the equestrian program.

Doe River Gorge Christian camp is located in Tennessee, and is one day’s drive or less from North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Missouri, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Maryland, Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, and New York. We have also served campers from other parts of the country as far away as Colorado, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Texas, Louisiana, and Hawaii, as well as internationally from The Bahamas and Costa Rica. Doe River Gorge is a member of the Christian Camp and Conference Association (CCCA), the Elizabethton/Carter County Chamber of Commerce, the Johnson City Chamber of Commerce, and the Bristol Chamber of Commerce.
