Junior Adventure Quest Groups
(for student groups entering grades 3-6)
At Junior Adventure Quest you'll be hanging from sixty foot cliffs, tubing the Doe River, racing your friends down a 700-foot water-landing zipline, and riding a horse on a mountain trail. And that's just the beginning of your Doe River Gorge experience.
Doe River Gorge provides all programming and logistics including team building, high adventure, fabulous food, transformational teaching, passionate worship experiences, and debrief sessions. Your students will soar in their walk with Christ while building unity and teamwork in your group.
A well-trained college-aged young person will guide you through the week to support you, lighten your load, and be a positive role model to your students. This allows you, as youth leader, to be involved in all of the intense activities or, if you prefer, to sit in a rocking chair overlooking the mountains and enjoy some down-time to refuel yourself for ministry.
Jr. Adventure Quest allows you the freedom to play, love, and invest in your students while building memories that will last a lifetime. You and your students will return home as a team of unified, committed disciples, strengthened in your faith, and ready for another year of ministry.
...a youth leader from Woodstock, GA says, "The worship time and witnessing the spiritual growth of the youth I am accompanying is what I enjoyed the most. No where else have I seen such concentrated opportunities for personal and spiritual growth, all surrounded with an atmosphere of fun."
...and from a youth leader in Fayetteville, NC, "The spiritual applications of all the high adventure activities were great. The ways the messages in the evenings built on each other was what I enjoyed most ... I took the week to focus on what God was teaching me as a pastor and a leader. It's hard to find partners in ministry that you can entrust your youth to and DRG is that kind of place. The spiritual focus on the Gospel and the glory of God is excellent!"
