WHITEWATER TUBING - exhilarating adventure into the Gorge by railroad and down the rousing whitewater of the Doe River.

RAPPELLING – Whether you’re descending side-by-side with your best friend or your newfound camp friend, you’ll love rappelling down our spectacular 95-foot rock wall over the railroad tunnel.

VIA DOLOROSA - With three of your teammates you'll climb straight up rope ladders, horizontal bars and vertical beams with rock climbing hand-holds to a deck high above the forest floor. Finish the challenge from the tree deck by crossing the Doe River on a 250' swinging bridge.

Think of the VIA FERRATA as a challenge course on vertical rock face that combines the fun and challenge of a ropes course with the thrill and extremeness of rock climbing. The 350 ft. zipline river crossing is a rush you'll never forget!

Doe River Gorge Christian camp is located in Tennessee, and is one day’s drive or less from North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Missouri, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Maryland, Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, and New York. We have also served campers from other parts of the country as far away as Colorado, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Texas, Louisiana, and Hawaii, as well as internationally from The Bahamas and Costa Rica. Doe River Gorge is a member of the Christian Camp and Conference Association (CCCA), the Elizabethton/Carter County Chamber of Commerce, the Johnson City Chamber of Commerce, and the Bristol Chamber of Commerce.
